summer days...

so summer is absolutely flying by...and i can't believe it! it's probably because i haven't really had a summer! haha i've been at scott city four days a week and babysitting 3 days a week...and doing volleyball two nights a week! and finally conditioning is over so now i actually have a bit of a summer!
so i am going to destin in 3 weeks!! i cannot freaking wait! i have never been. i love me some beach so i can't wait to soak in the sun! it's going to be fabulous!
so i am totally in love with the new show, 'dating in the dark'. it is freakin fabulous!!! omg...it would be such a trip to be on that show!!
so i'm dogsitting for the bankens for a few days and i love it. lucy is such a doll! i also went to bernie and got my sophie graces to come stay with us! they are bff's haha i can't believe how much i miss having my sophie around...or any dog in general! haha they're so much company and so sweet. and sophie's such a great cuddler!! ugh i can't wait to get a house and have her all the time!!

starting fresh

ok so the last blog was a little ... rough... haha and i'm doin better...still kinda jaded about a few things but such is life...
so i have decided that i need a vacay!! so me and some friends are goin to DESTIN!!! i cannot wait...i just want to lay on the beach from sun up to sun down...this will make me extremely happy!!
this past weekend was pretty fun... i had a wedding shower for one of my good friends, then i went to see the intention at bel air...got rained out but it was still fun. then i met up with some dear friends who i had not seen in a long time...it was such a good night. and found out that they're having twins!!! aaahhh i am so excited for them!!!
middle school volleyball camp was last week...and what a week. they showed a lot of improvement from monday to friday but it was kinda stressful for me haha i am lacking in the patience department...
well this is the last week of conditioning!! then i'll actually get to do nothing for a few weeks before practice starts for season. i am soooo stoked about volleyball season....i can't wait. we're getting new uniforms and they are sooo bad ass haha we play bernie this wednesday at the osage center, extremely excited about that game!!!
ok i've gotta go for now...i'll try to post more often....i'll have plenty of time on my hands in the next couple weeks :)

Im just so done with it all

Well, it's been almost a year since the 'big break of '08' and I can honestly say I'm really not in a better place than I was back then. Granted, It's better that Im not in that situation, but now I'm in a completely new situation that has got me feeling even more lonely/down than I was... I just really wonder when it's gonna be my turn ...





Here's a couple reasons why I'm feelin like this:


the house I wanted was sold to someone else (this is the 2nd time this has happened), and


I live alone in a little apartment that doesn't allow me to keep my baby girl Sophia (my puppy)





So basically I am 28, single, and have really nothing to show for my life except my job. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but that's not all there is in life. I guess I'm just bein a cry baby but I don't care...I feel like I deserve to be happy...all my friends are either married or engaged, and here I sit in my apartment alone...I can't even have my damn dog! I don't really know what I've done to piss off the higher powers, but I sure wish I could find out. Maybe then I could change it!



Ok, there's my depressing story for the day....on the other hand, my Varsity volleyball team totally kicked ass yesterday at the Jackson Tournament. The highest any team scored against us was 19 points. I'm totally proud of my girls. They're the best thing goin in my life right now and I wouldnt trade them for the world!! We have a mascot this year...his name is Carlos and we heart him. thats him in the pic on the side haha

First Blog

Ok, so I am going to try to do a blog...if anyone is interested...haha

Let's see...it's officially summer and its officially hot. I love it tho! I hate hate hate winter. This summer is really flying by, and I haven't even had a vacation! I probably won't get one either :( I do volleyball conditioning 4 days a week, Osage practices and games 2 nites a week, play sand volleyball 1 to 2 nites a week, and babysit 4 days a week. whew...makes me tired just typing it!

I am trying to buy a house..I've found a REALLY cute one here in Cape and I am going to look at it with the 'rents tomorrow!!! So say a prayer that it all works out!!

I am babysitting a friend of mine's two little girls, ages 4 and 2. I can't think of a better form of birth control! haha I don't know that I could deal with small kids day in and day out...whew!! What really gets me are the poopy diapers *gag* I just almost puke every time I have to change one!!

Well, I guess that's it for now...I am going to do my best to update this thing pretty often...so if you're reading, keep on the look out! haha
